Description

Clinch nuts, also known as self-clinching or press-in nuts, are fasteners designed to create strong, permanent threads in thin or soft materials like sheet metal. Design and Installation:

A typical clinch nut features a round body with a serrated clinching ring or knurl near its base. During installation, the nut is pressed into a pre-punched hole in the sheet metal. The force causes the surrounding material to flow into an undercut beneath the knurl, securely locking the nut in place and preventing rotation.
